This ceramic wall symbolizes the end of the current capitalist system. The red deer is the protagonist of this story as he travels on a journey in which he encounters a white porcelain cloth from China. This special cloth made of white porcelain that has been fired at 1300 degrees with a Chun glaze. The deer has come a long way and has come to a stop. Disillusioned, he wonders: ‘What’s next?’ The capitalist system itself is in danger of collapsing under its own weight, plagued by the propelling polarization in global distribution of wealth. The only thing the red deer can do in this sculpture is slow down and reflect. Questions abound. Answers are scarce. Time will tell.
